Many ppl in game inquire about the 15k armor and want to know what it looks like and what it takes to get it.

I want to make a section at my site about 15k armors, pictures and what it costs to buy it AND where it is located.

We all know how much it costs but i even mean the avg. costs of materials as if you had none and bought it all, obviously the warrior will have the most expensive and coolest, the elemental while super powerful has kinda weak armor in looks as it really only has new texture design, and not by much.

I will need 2 screenshots! 1 close up from torso up and one full body

Name of Armor
Place where you get it.
Cost of armor (total)
Cost of materials (total)
Your character name so I can give you credit in the pic.
If it is dyed note the original non-dyed color

I need all types (Ex. elementals have 4 types, I have my Pyro, but i need a hydro, Geomancer, Aeromancer)

It will take time to compile everything and get the sub-domain up but it will be nice to see what ppl can save for.

You might be able to find some good pics of them in the screen shot thread, there were quite a few last time I looked, the people who frequent that might be able to help.

hmmm, well, i dont mind it being merged but ummmm, my main topic is now at the end and people wont see what i need for the project. I want as many people with as much variety as possible to send stuff to me....Pics, Where you got it, Total cost in gold and materials, cost in gold for total materials needed as if you had none of the materials. Color b4 dyed if that applies to you. the models name YOUR CHARACTER name so you get recognition for helping me with this.

I can only assume, but! Ele's have 4 armor sets, on that assumption i think all professions have 4, so I need pics of all 30 since they have 6 professions.

I hate to advertise a thread on a diff site but this way I can control it better as the admin.

Thanks for the e-mail! that armor looks sweet! and I dont mind the high res pics, I want the pics to be a clear as possible for others to see!

Bleh I think I need to get this armor because my Necro looks just silly cuz I went ahead and used Scar patterns to get the +energy benefits. Now I have a naked body-modded Necro in a cape running around...(And it cost me a ton because I had to buy like 150 parchments!

As previously mentioned, 6 * 4 = 24 last I checked

Also, keep in mind male AND female sets for each class, so you're really looking at 48 total

I dyed my 15k Plate black and it looks crap. I mean come on you would think if you dyed your armour black that it would not come out dark grey. Especially considering the price of Black Dye these days.

Gold and Silver on 15k look so much better.

But for some reason Black just looks like a dark grey instead of the coloured areas being a nice rich black.

You have to consider the base color of the armor. You do know that most armors are pre-colored, right? So anything you add will go on top of the old color, right?

Yeah, the coloring system is a little odd. Before they put the necromancer tunic in presearing ascalon, I had the ugly green tunic with everything else red. I used dye remover in the tunic.. and it turned red to match my other stuff

But that does not explain why gold and silver turn out so well. Like the silver coloured 15k plate looks really nice, you would think that if lighter colours work so well that a darker colour would work even better.

I was hoping that the black coloured areas would be a nice rich black not an off dark grey.

So what your saying is that if I use a dye remover on the original 15k plate that I may get a better result ?

I though of using silver on my 15k plate first and then using black, has anybody tried this to get a nicer looking black?

Does anyone have a screenie of a 15k armor dyed all silver?

I have 5 black dyes right now and I might use them all for my set.

I'll post pictures of myself right now. I want black mostly because it makes me look very uniform (I use a shadow shield),
